How to edit PDF text and keep the original font
Practice editing the original text in a sample PDF quote. Change a delivery date, then check font, spacing and line wrapping.
Try the sample in the toolWork through the sample
A quote is ready to send, but the delivery date has moved. Use the built-in sample to change just the delivery line and compare it with the surrounding text.
Open the PDF editor, choose the sample PDF, and find the line beginning with “Delivery” in the quote.
Switch to text editing and click the existing line. Change “Friday” to “Monday”, then compare the new letters with the rest of the line.
Try a longer date to see where the text wraps. Check the paragraph below it and undo any change you do not want to keep.
Check the result
If the text is part of a scan, recognize it with OCR first. Zoom in to check replacement glyphs and spacing when a document uses an unusual font. You can edit and review for free. Exporting the edited PDF requires a paid export credit.
